Size

- FORM: Tillandsia Flabellata is an air plant with thick, shiny leaves. The leaves range from a deep green to a maroon.Our plants are the vigorous Guatemalan variant. They are relatively quick growers and can get as tall as 12 inches. When in bloom, a simple orange to red bloom is produced.
- COLOR: Green and red 'rubra' forms
- WATER: Mist often and soak once a week
- MOUNTING: This is one of the few species that can actually be planted in well-draining orchid mix or sphagnum moss (similar to T. Cyanea). Otherwise, display like other tillandsia in terrariums, wood or other containers.
- NATIVE HABITAT: Central America

I ordered air plants from other places and they always died within a few weeks. The airplants that I have ordered on Air Plant City's website arrived healthier looking and are they are all still alive after a few months.
